No Gimmicks here!

I was hoping to have another 52tochangetheworld song by today but it’s not quite ready. Needs a couple more days. The song is about pigs and their mistreatment in modern agriculture. I must admit I was quite shocked as I researched the subject.

Some of the more interesting sites I bookmarked and commented on in my 52tochangetheworld Diigo group. Diigo is a fantastic way to research information and I think it would be even more exciting for sharing and collaborating if there were more people using it. Give it time I guess. Anyway, feel free to join Diigo and the group and suggest pages or comment on my comments/bookmarks etc… Your input is not only welcome but necessary!

Also I am going to change the way I do the accompanying material. I’m working on three other websites and an EP right now so I guess delays are inevitable! I think from now on I’m going to look at the whole ‘Song a Week’ thing as the gimmick it truly is. I want to research subjects thoroughly for this project and that sometimes takes time. I’m counting on that commitment (and hopefully regular involvement in the research) retaining people’s interest as much as a song released every Friday by 5.30 would:-).

Hope those of you in the UK are enjoying the snow. Saw the countryside behind my house on the train on the way home today. Very beautiful. I think I might go for a walk tomorrow morning.

Till next time!

“I just don’t dig on swine, that’s all.”

I was thinking the snow was beautiful, but then a avalanche occurred on our roof with broke our guttering and then the cold froze our pipes which resulted in our boiler packing up. So, I’ve sent snow to Coventry (so to speak).

That’s miserable dude… It’s the sort of thing that’ll make a great anecdote – when it’s warmed up in July!
