Totally agree with you:) I have a pro mixing my stuff currently so watch this space for some much improved versions of my tracks. Thanks for the comments tho. Nice honest bio. An honesty that shows through in your music. Digging your playing A LOT. Like your vocal too but will be honest and say that I don’t think your mixing/engineering on the tracks is doing the vocal justice IMHO (I think the instruments are generally fine). I ‘m a pretty experienced producer and I think you could use a tad of some unobtrusive vocal processing (a little tempo synced delay for thickening mostly , with different compression settings) and a touch of balancing with a warm and precise EQ. Small touches like this can really make a vocal ‘sit’ in the mix and give it that sheen and warmth you hear with some of the artists you’ve mentioned. Unfortunately my setup is packed away or I would offer to take stems from you to show you what I mean. All the best though and keep doing what you’re doing. I can see you that you live for the process and that means you are already succesful.
