My two new recordings ‘Someone I Can Be Alone With’ and the newly re-titled ‘Have I Told You Today? (How much I miss you, when you’re not around)’ are finished. Just gotta get time to put them up on the website now! This stuff is far more accessible than anything I’ve done previously and is comparable to ‘Respect’ in terms of production quality.
Just as well since I’m off to Italy in a few days where it’s harder for me to record. Several opportunities have presented themselves recently so I shall be looking at them over the coming weeks (whilst running , doing yoga & eating great food & generally having a great time:-)
Big thank you to all who attended last night’s gig at El Camion. You made it such a special evening! And thank you especially to Kate for organizing it all and giving me the opportunity to play. That’s the longest set I’ve ever played solely on guitar (nearly an hour:-) and I think I learnt a lot! Next time I’ll bring my keys along!
In other news, I have a recording of ‘When You’re Not Around’ that is very close to finished now. Maybe another 2/3 weeks. It’s leagues ahead of anything else I’ve recorded in every department and is one of the songs that I’m most frequently complemented on. Gotta be some compensation to spending so much time apart from the one you love eh?

I just uploaded a performance to my new “videos” section. Sensational was recorded at the “Spice of Life” in Soho, London during September 2010. Many thanks to Alison for the camera work and the use of her computer to tweak and upload it! It’s my favourite video of me playing so far!
You’re looking at it. It needs serious testing and some of the features are not ready yet. I’m pretty pleased with how it looks though! Let me know what you think:-).
